Electronic devices around us adopt various wireless communication standards depending on the purpose of use. The technologies differ in communication distance, transmission speed, and power saving capability among other characteristics. These include 5G and 4G for cellular networks and NB-IoT, LTE-Cat M1, LoRa, and Sigfox for low power wide area networks (LPWAN), as well as RedCap, wireless LAN (WLAN), and Bluetooth technology. 

WLAN and Bluetooth technology are characterized by high-speed data transmission or low power consumption in short-range communication. They also provide easy connectivity to multiple devices. Furthermore, because of their low cost of use, these technologies are employed in a vast range of products, including cell phones, IoT devices, automobiles, audio equipment, and medical equipment, thus supporting people’s lives.
