Kenan Maciel is director of strategy at Lab49, a specialist consultancy that designs and develops bespoke and innovative technology solutions for firms operating across all capital markets. In his role, Kenan is responsible for strategically guiding clients through their entire digital transformation journey, helping provide solutions for clients of all sizes across both the buy and sell side.

Kenan has over 20 years of experience in financial services, having developed a deep domain knowledge across capital markets, especially the fixed-income and foreign exchange markets. Before joining Lab49 in 2010, Kenan held the role of Programme Manager at Deutsche Bank. He joined Deutsche Bank after spending nearly three years in technology strategy at Dutch investment bank ABN Amro.

Kenan holds significant experience managing enterprise-level large-scale change programs and holds broader experience in the digital consulting sector. He was a partner at MP Partners for six years before pivoting his focus to financial services.
