Mohan Varthakavi is the vice president at Couchbase, leading AI and edge computing strategy and execution. He previously held executive roles at AWS and Microsoft. At AWS, he played a key role in creating Amazon QuickSight and Amazon MemoryDB and expanding Amazon ElastiCache into a large-scale business. He was also a founding member of the Amazon Prime local initiative. At Microsoft, he launched major systems, including the Bing search engine, Mapping and Geospatial systems, Bing Mobile Experiences, and Natural Language interfaces. Mohan holds an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and an M.S. in Computer Science from Anna University, India
