Jordan’s drone show company, HoverUp, has set a new record for the most number of drone light shows conducted per day.
The company, which worked in collaboration with SPH Engineering, put on between two and three shows each day to celebrate Jordan’s Independence Day on May 25 and a royal wedding on June 1.
HoverUp provided its fleet of 400 drones for the displays, while SPH Engineering provided its drone show technology to synchronize and manage drone movement and prevent drones from colliding with one another.
Images created by the drone fleet included the royal crown, the flag of Jordan and the initials of the crown prince and Princess Rajwa.
"The Abdali Drone Show surpassed all expectations, not only in terms of its artistic brilliance but also in the technical feat we accomplished," said Abdullah A., HoverUp’s head of PR. "To conduct multiple drone shows per day using 400 drones is a testament to our team's expertise and the power of Drone Show Software from SPH Engineering. This record-breaking achievement made our show truly unforgettable."
"This milestone showcases the incredible potential of Drone Show Software to create record-breaking global events for any occasion,” said Alex Levandovskiy, head of Drone Show Technology at SPH Engineering.
SPH’s drone display software was previously used for Eurovision celebrations in Liverpool, U.K., and to create Latvia’s largest drone display.
