Speaking at The Quantum Computing Summit London, Fujitsu director of data and AI fusion works Keith Dear delivered a session on how quantum computing could contribute to future artificial general intelligence.

Dear made the case that technology has long surpassed people’s capabilities in strength, speed, repetitive tasks and precision and argued that our power over machines has made us more powerful.

He said that today, technology is surpassing human cognitive capabilities in a growing range of domains and humanity is moving into an era where it seeks power with machines, not over them.
