Automated Self-Service Kiosk Simplifies Returns Process, NRF 2023
Kiosk Information Systems touts its kiosk a “game changer” for the retail industry
A new rapid, self-service returns kiosk will be on display at this year’s NRF show. Developed by Kiosk Information Systems alongside software and logistics partner Inmar Post Purchase Solutions, the Automated Returns Kiosk (ARK) completes the returns process in under two minutes.
Kiosk says the ARK is a “game changer” for the retail industry. As businesses face ongoing pressures from high demand levels and labor shortages, the logistics surrounding e-commerce returns are becoming increasingly difficult to navigate.
"The automated returns solution is mutually beneficial to both retailers and consumers and is disruptive in its simplicity,” said Kim Kenney, Kiosk CEO. “It has the full attention of major retailers in the US and Europe, and we anticipate this unique self-service category will quickly become a mainstream offering."
ARK’s design includes iPickup Point, an e-commerce fulfillment system from Position Imaging that harnesses asset tracking tags to enable simple and rapid product identification.
At NRF, Kiosk also presented its range of retail-focused service kiosks, including a self-service cash to credit card delivery kiosk, its virtual, two-way communication platform, enabling real-time customer support, an AI concierge that provides a greeting platform for customer guidance and FAQ answers, and an in-store Bitcoin ATM that enables cryptocurrency transactions such as independent purchase and cash redemption.
