Smart Cities Featured at IoT World in Austin

From smart mobility solutions to the rise of 5G, the landscape of cities is undergoing significant changes thanks to the advent of digital transformation.

At the IoT World Conference and Expo, at the Austin Convention Center on Nov. 2-3, speakers will delve into the topic to discuss the ways in which innovations are transforming how people interact with and live within cities.

Talks at this year’s event include using technology to improve public safety, using 5G to enable real-time monitoring of traffic conditions and smart mobility and how the future of ride sharing is facing a digital overhaul.

Whether small scale business or part of a wider organization, smart cities are fast becoming a reality that calls for a new way of operating, with these talks designed to help navigate the novel industry challenges that arise as a result.

Speakers include representatives from Peachtree Corners, Georgia, the City of Austin, City of Arlington, Supermicro and Austin Energy.
