A new quantum technology threat intelligence and knowledge platform aims to enable professionals to stay ahead of evolving threats by identifying and sharing tactics and countermeasures.

QuDef, a Netherlands-based quantum technology and cybersecurity solutions provider, has launched early access to Open Access SQOUT. It aims to offer insights into potential compromises of quantum technologies by both quantum and classical methods and share how they can be mitigated.

SQOUT enables users to identify and share tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and countermeasures to tackle cyberattacks against quantum technologies. According to QuDef, it is the first quantum TTP-based cyber threat intelligence platform.

“With the rapid advancements in quantum technologies, understanding the potential vulnerabilities is crucial,” said QuDef CEO Bob Dirks.

“Open Access SQOUT provides a vital resource for professionals to stay informed about the latest threats and countermeasures. We are excited to offer this platform in its early access phase and look forward to its continued development.”

As well as delivering insights into quantum attacks and countermeasures, SQOUT also offers enhanced features that deliver deeper intelligence on quantum technology TTPs, vulnerabilities, protocols, products, key players, standards and security frameworks.

Organizations will be able to use SQOUT for quantum technology security assessment and evaluation services to stay ahead of threats. QuDef said it would help ensure compliance, strengthen security posture, assess defense gaps, facilitate blue/red teaming exercises and safeguard quantum technology investments.

“Open Access SQOUT marks a significant step towards enhancing the security of quantum technologies,” said QuDef chief technology officer Michal Krelina.

“By providing unclassified and publicly available information, we aim to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among quantum technology professionals. This platform is just the beginning and we have much more to offer with our complete SQOUT platform.”
