Michiel Lotter is the CEO of Nextivity and brings 25 years of expertise in wireless communication. He joined Nextivity in 2007 as CTO and became CEO in 2021. Previously, he served as Senior Director for platform development at Broadcom following its acquisition of Zyray Wireless, where he was a co-founder and Vice President of Engineering. Earlier in his career, he spent eight years with Alcatel Networks. Michiel holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pretoria and has authored and co-authored numerous journal and conference papers and two books on wireless communications. He's also the named inventor or co-inventor on 40 issued patents, with several more pending.
