Valeo Highlights Growing Partnerships at CES 2024
The French parts supplier announced it is partnering with Applied Intuition for digital twins
One of the key unstated themes at CES this year is the necessary move to team with others within the technology ecosystem.
Volkswagen announced a partnership with U.S. software firm Cerence for adding ChatGPT to its in-car voice agent, for example.
Bosch is teaming with Amazon Web Services and Uber partnered with location data platform Here Technologies.
And now French parts supplier Valeo announced this week that it is partnering with Applied Intuition for digital twins.
Valeo, which has been presenting at CES for 10 years, also announced at its CES presentation that it is partnering with Google Cloud on generative AI.
Valeo said it has created a new night vision camera to extend at night in smoke, snow, rain or dust storm. The technology has already been sold to General Motors, according to the company.
“We're presenting today for the first time, the world's smallest and most sensitive automotive grade night vision camera,” said Christophe Perillat, Valeo CEO.
Valeo has been working with BMW on self-parking technologies for some time.
Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and is creating a digital twin for its ADAS to enhance and speed its ADAS developments.
Perillat co-presented with Geoffrey Bouquot, chief technology officer and senior vice president of strategy.
