Imagine going clothes shopping and finding your fitting room outfitted with an interactive smart mirror that can recommend a size and even offer some suggestions.

The MySizeID FirstLook Smart Mirror, introduced at the National Retail Federation (NRF) annual conference and expo in January, is now available for retailers. The mirror-like display lets brands give in-store customers everything from contactless checkout to size recommendations. And that’s not all.

By using AI-driven measurements and data algorithms, company officials say the smart mirror could revolutionize the shopping experience.

It includes a 3D “try-it-on” interactive avatar experience, giving shoppers an item’s exact fit on their body. The smart mirror can offer a size recommendation by scanning a barcode in the store. It also provides styling recommendations based on available inventory and the shopper’s preferences.

Additionally, the mirror integrates with third-party point of sale systems, and offers a contactless checkout register feature.

The smart mirror has the potential to revolutionize the in-store fashion retail buying experience, according to company CEO Ronen Luzon.

“It is our first product solution addressing in-person retail shopping,” Luzon said. “The MySizeID AI-driven measurement and data algorithms drive the FirstLook Smart Mirror in helping increase sale conversions and reduce returns at the physical store retail environment.”
