VenHub, a Pasadena, California-based company, is set to launch fully autonomous, AI-powered Smart Stores, to revolutionize the retail industry.

The company is currently accepting pre-orders for the robotic-operated stores, which promise a seamless shopping experience available 24/7.

The Smart Stores utilize technologies, including AI and smart inventory management systems, to operate without human employees.

Customers can make purchases through an app-based ordering system, accessing a range of products from everyday essentials to consumer technology and specialty items.

VenHub's prefabricated Smart Stores are designed as expandable 800-square-foot units that can be delivered and installed within days.

The company touts these stores as a cost-effective alternative to traditional brick-and-mortar outlets, requiring no staff to operate.

“VenHub is at the forefront, spearheading initiatives that ensure safer, smarter, and smoother shopping experiences,” said Shahan Ohanessian, VenHub’s CEO.

The company says it has already received pre-orders from more than 800 retailers worldwide, potentially representing more than $240 million in sales.

VenHub claims its Smart Stores are “the future of retailing.” They’re versatile enough to be set up in locations including airports, college campuses and sports venues.

In addition to its smart store launch, VenHub also plans to go public, announcing in July that it submitted a strategic non-binding letter of intent with a renowned NASDAQ-listed Special Purpose Acquisition Company.
