Boston Dynamics Robot Dog TikTok Hits 4.5M Views
Princeton University students are creating TikTok videos of Boston Dynamics’ robot dog Spot to demonstrate its potential civilian use cases and the results are going viral.
The videos are being added under the TikTok account, SPOTlight, which shows Spot interacting in some musical videos.
In one, which has racked up 4.5 million views, student Gigi Schadrack programmed Spot to line dance alongside her, jumping and moving in sync.
Ticketmaster Breach Impacts 560 Million Customers
More than half a billion Ticketmaster customers may have had their personal and credit card data compromised after the ticket agency fell victim to a cyberattack, according to a new report.
The personal information of 560 million customers has been compromised after hackers accessed 1.3 terabytes of data including emails, phone numbers, addresses and credit card data, claimed the ShinyHunders hacker group.
The group claimed responsibility for the breach and said it is selling that stolen data on BreachForms for $500,000.

Ericsson Demonstrates Indoor 5G Drone in Smart Factory
Ericsson has successfully completed a proof-of-concept drone project at its USA 5G Smart Factory in Lewisville, Texas, demonstrating the use of an autonomous drone to perform indoor missions.
The company used the drone to complete autonomous inventory checks of the warehouse’s higher shelves. Ericsson said the project showcases the potential of drones for autonomous barcode scanning and inventory management.
The drone is powered by a Qualcomm processor and comes equipped with indoor-optimized flight control, 5G-connected Nest docking station and live video streaming cameras.

Flying Vehicle Startup Signs Deal With Air Force
Flying vehicle company Pivotal has signed a two-year deal with the U.S. Air Force to accelerate the testing and system verification of its eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) vehicle.
The contract gives Pivotal access to test facilities, expert resources and numerous sites in restricted airspace.
The Pivotal Helix is a tilt aircraft with eight fixed rotors and tandem wings. It can emergency land on water and fly with maximum wind of 20 miles per hour.
Testing under the Air Force AFWERX Agility Prime program is planned using the Pivotal BlackFly prototype, the predecessor to the Helix.

Pharmaceutical Company Rolls Out AI-Powered Supply Chain Management
Pharmaceutical group Servier has selected Kinaxis, a developer of AI-powered supply chain management software, to improve transparency and visibility across its supply chain and accelerate time to market for its portfolio of drugs.
Under the collaboration, Kinaxis will provide its software to allow Servier to connect and orchestrate its network end-to-end, from planning to last-mile delivery.
Kinaxis’ cloud-based software-as-a-service platform is designed to be a one-stop-shop for businesses to collect and monitor data on assets, coordinate supply chains and generate reports on trends over time.
