While no one can guarantee the future, one AI company is predicting the Philadelphia Eagles will beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Using “collective superintelligence” through its Thinkscape AI platform, Unanimous.AI concluded the Eagles have a 55% chance of winning.

The system also provided reasoning as to why it predicted the Eagles to win.

“We believe their well-rounded talent is an advantage over Kansas City, which relies more on a single player, Mahomes, for success. In addition, we believe their strong playoff performance, and superior defense gives them an edge. While we worry about Mahomes' Super Bowl experience and potential referee bias favoring the Chiefs, we favor the Eagles with 55% conviction in this tight matchup.”

The Unanimous.AI Conversational Swarm Intelligence divides large populations into small, networked subgroups, each sized for thoughtful conversation.

“The magic is our patented use of AI agents to propagate insights across the full group in real time,” the company stated. “This combines the benefits of small-scale discourse with the collective intelligence benefits of large populations.”

For the Super Bowl prediction, the company connected 104 randomly selected members of the general public in a real-time, AI-facilitated deliberation.

In 2023, Unanimous.AI predicted the Philadelphia Eagles would beat the Kansas City Chiefs. It was close, but the Chiefs won that game 38 to 35. The company said the system has since been improved.

“The technology has advanced significantly,” Louis Rosenberg, founder and CEO of Unanimous AI, told AI Business. “Our new Thinkscape AI platform enables hundreds of people to deliberate together conversationally and converge on the best possible prediction for the available facts.

“Because it is conversational, the system produces clear reasons why the forecast converges on the answer it does. In this case, the collective intelligence believes that the more well-rounded team has a statistical edge in a matchup this close."

While Unanimous.AI technology is predicting an Eagles win, the entire market is hardly unanimous.

Google Gemini stated that “predicting the winner is tough, as both teams are incredibly strong. However, early odds and expert opinions seem to slightly favor the Kansas City Chiefs.  Ultimately, the winner will be decided on the field.”

DeepSeek also stated the Chiefs are slight favorites due to their recent dominance and Mahomes' postseason prowess, but the Eagles have a strong chance to dethrone them with their balanced offense and elite defense. The game is expected to be highly competitive.”

The actual game result will be determined on Sunday.
