Advanced air transportation company Future Flight Global and autonomous aircraft company Anra Technologies have partnered to develop a “digital backbone” for advanced air mobility (AAM).

The companies plan to create the required infrastructure to support and scale electric flying vehicles including eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing) air taxis, powered lift aircraft, delivery drones and regional aircraft.

The AAM sector is expected to drastically reduce intra-city travel times and enable faster inter-city connections, transforming how people and things move.

“We are thrilled to partner with ANRA Technologies, whose expertise in airspace traffic management and vertiport management systems aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of advanced air mobility,” said Karan Singh, founder and CEO of Future Flight Global. “This partnership will be instrumental in developing and testing the digital infrastructure needed to support the next generation of AAM aircraft and progress towards autonomy, transforming how airspace is managed and unlocking new opportunities for mobility worldwide.

“This partnership aims to create a transportation ecosystem that fundamentally improves how people and goods move. Without the right infrastructure — a system to manage airspace, integrate vehicles, and support seamless operations — this vision won’t scale. That’s why the digital backbone is so critical.”

Anra Technologies and Future Flight Global plan to develop a real-time airspace management and mission planning system.

The planned platform would help autonomous flying vehicles avoid collisions as well as manage airspace congestion and coordinate with vertiports and charging stations.

Anra and Future Flight plan to create pilot programs in urban and regional environments to validate the digital infrastructure and coordinate with regulators for compliance and public safety.

The partnership also aims to engage local communities and showcase the benefits of AAM while addressing issues around noise, airspace usage and environmental impact.

The idea to create a scalable model that could be adapted for global markets.
