Connects decision-makers and solutions creators to what's next in quantum computing
Pasqal, Tech Mahindra Team on Quantum Computing Applications
Partners aim to target banking, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, manufacturing, environment and sustainability.
Quantum computing company Pasqal has entered into a multiyear collaboration with technology services and consultancy organization Tech Mahindra to develop quantum applications for business use cases.
The partners intend to target high-impact use cases for critical sectors including banking, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, manufacturing, environment and sustainability.
They plan to initially focus on three main areas: upskilling Tech Mahindra employees in quantum computing, identifying and developing use cases for key business areas and educating clients on the potential of quantum technology and its practical industry applications.
“The collaboration with Pasqal aligns with our commitment to integrating quantum computing with cutting-edge technological solutions that address complex challenges across industries and help them scale at speed,” said Tech Mahindra global head at Makers Lab Nikhil Malhotra.
“Together, we aim to empower our customers to harness quantum computing's capabilities and pioneer groundbreaking solutions in finance, healthcare, sustainability and beyond."
Use cases the organizations plan to work on together include drug discovery and optimization for the pharma industry, material discovery for manufacturing and other industries and satellite planning for aerospace.
Other candidate applications are complex dataset analysis and financial modeling for the banking, financial services and insurance industry, cybersecurity enhancement and energy consumption optimization for utilities operators.
“Pasqal is committed to making quantum computing accessible and beneficial to businesses around the world,” said Pasqal co-CEO Loïc Henriet.
“This alliance with Tech Mahindra will create a strong foundation for real-world quantum applications. Together, we can bridge the gap between cutting-edge laboratory research and industry adoption.”
