Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Informa Tech has taken pride in taking early and decisive action to ensure the safety of our attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff as the situation surrounding in-person events has evolved rapidly.

As the timeline for the safe return of large-scale events becomes clearer,, we have decided to move IoT World 2021. Traditionally held in April, the conference will take place November 2-4, 2021, at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

We look forward to returning to a face-to-face event with IoT World 2021. And after the huge success in attracting international attendees from 94 countries to our virtual IoT World conference in August 2020, the 2021 event will now reach a global audience as hybrid event. We will now connect the in-person North American audience to the online global audience at IoT World, for the first time. As a result, the previous IoT World Europe, IoT World Asia and IoT World China and IoT World Africa will now be held virtually during IoT World, creating a global festival of IoT innovation.

For exhibitors and sponsors with credits from 2020, your sales representative will reach out to you with more information to automatically roll your credits to the November 2021 IoT World and help you secure booth space. Additionally, you will have the opportunity before IoT World to be involved with Embedded IoT World Virtual and the IoT at the Edge Digital Symposium virtual events, as well as media advertising and/or marketing services opportunities with IoT World Today.

Conference attendees who paid to attend the IoT World live event in 2020 will automatically have access to attend the fall in-person event with a pass of equal value. *

The eighth annual IoT World will now also co-locate with the sixth annual AI Summit Silicon Valley, also organized by Informa Tech. Bringing these two-industry leading conference programs together ensures representation of the entire IoT ecosystem from components and devices to AI applications in the world’s largest IoT and AI expo.

This hybrid format will also ensure that enterprise attendees can reduce time out of the office by attending one consolidated industry event covering two of the most important enterprise technologies enterprise leaders face in progressing their digital transformation.

IoT World 2021 will focus on four core themes, all critical in the development of the market as we adapt to our new world:

  1. Developments in the IoT ecosystem to progress end-to-end IoT solutions

  2. Intersecting IoT with 5G, edge and AI to progress digital transformation

  3. The applications of IIoT for industrial enterprise to adapt in win in the new normal

  4. Securing the IoT, now

The combined event will also feature Elevating Founders USA, delivered in partnership between Informa Tech and Founders Forum. This Startup Program will feature business ready IoT and AI startups, alongside the investor community to help unlock growth in the next disruptors of the market.

Both IoT World and AI Summit 2021 will be organized in line with the Informa AllSecure Standard, which Informa has collaborated with association partners including UFI, AEO and SISO, along with other large exhibition organizers, venues, suppliers, contractors, and government and local authorities design, highlighting our approach to enhanced health and safety standards at our events following COVID-19. You can view the full Informa AllSecure Standard here.
